Casey Neistat is an aduled YouTuber, followed by more than 7 million persons, most of them are teenagers.
In his video for Inc., Casey delivers a strong message: “I don’t think you can be taught to be an entrepreneur”. He claims “it is an innate desire and hunger to do something unprecedented” that drives entrepreneurship. His view is that “by definition, this can not be taught” in a classroom. He acknowledges however that education “provides entrepreneurs the tools they need to succeed”.
At Biz4Teens, we share most of Casey’s views. We also believe that teenagers can benefit greatly from the opportunity of trialing simple business ideas, with a “rule book” and the support of a community.
Our innovative approach allows teenagers to execute a business idea, from start to finish, by following simple instructions. Teens get a first hands-on experience at entrepreneurship. This will boost their self-confidence and can feed this innate desire and hunger to create unprecedented things later!
